The MS1850S uses a laminated stainless-steel bolt for high-security manual locking in commercial narrow-stile aluminum doors. Cylinders, thumbturns, and strikes are selected separately for the opening.

- Restore or provide after-hours manual security on a compatible single-leaf narrow-stile aluminum storefront opening
- Fit check
- Confirm the 1-1/8-inch backset, faceplate, bolt type and throw, door thickness, cylinder and MS cam, strike preparation, accessibility, egress, and fire-rating requirements. Standard MS1850S deadlocks do not accept a 4591 paddle.
- Technician note
- Do not select this as an access-control shortcut. If electric release is required, the opening may need a compatible deadlatch conversion or another engineered solution.
