This lightweight field caliper has a three-inch jaw reach and fractional scales on both sides. It lets a technician capture overall insulating-glass thickness when the unit or installed condition fits the jaw geometry.

- Fit check
- Measures assemblies up to 4 inches / 102 mm thick with a 3-inch jaw reach. Confirm the jaws can reach the measurement point without loading or damaging the glass.
- Technician note
- Take more than one reading and avoid compressing gaskets or sealants into the measurement. Record where the reading was taken so the shop can reproduce the check.
